Very interesting…. Glad i purchased a couple of Stradivarius and J&H rubbers. After trying both blades with same (T05) both sides….. only difference is tbe sound and a slightly lighter Xiom combination. And the price!!! Wow!! Wonder how some companies can produce the virtual same product at a silly amount cheaper prices. Definitely an Xiom convert…. Steve and his son have phenomenal knowledge and because of you guys,games better,so far,but not really going for it as has serious spinal probs but on mend so can start going for it again!!!..Vega Korea on pure hinoki is a fave with several players and they’ve been Butterfly and Stiga since birth!!! I have used Stradivarius and Viscaria both for couple of seasons. I believe that there is difference in feel. Butterfly offers more feel after a certain break-in period compared to Xiom.

At 8:12 we can see thickness of outer plys is pretty different. Is it how good blade should be?

Many years back, Victas VO>102 was the first short pip rubber I tried (single side penhold). Shan Xiaona uses it now. Very nice bouncy soft feeling but not too difficult to play against. I switched to Spectol and got much better results for the 2 years I played with it before reverting to inverted.

Which one has the most "grip" ? I prefer "gripy" anti than the "slick" one? Or . . What if I change Normal sponge on normal rubber with some dampening "Anti" sponge?

Hi how is the perfect glue for Xiom rubber ?

just bought petr korbel xxs version which is 153 x 145mm. I wanted a all wood blade, without compromising on the speed. Yet to receive it

i don't wanna sound rude but you misunderstood what is a tension rubber or not. curled towards to sponge = tension lost. curled towards topsheet = max tension. flat rubber = tension starts to fade away.
